Lisa Van Wyk
President and Founder
Lisa Van Wyk is our visionary. In the summer of 2010, she founded Enspire365 with a heartfelt desire in mind: to see others reach their maximum potential by living for God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30). She is passionate about encouraging others to use their God-given talents for the Kingdom and helping them lead a life of abandonment and no regrets. In January 2019, she expanded her company’s footprint and services while rebranding the organization as Blaze Sports & Fitness.
Lisa’s vision spans far and wide. Her calling is to provide an integrative wellness facility in the community that taps into the best in sports, music, and education and provides a center for athletic success and builds personal healing and strength that breeds champions in all walks of life. Her studies show that a sound mind, body, and spirit are the key to successful living.
Lisa is fearless about exploring the topic of God’s sovereignty in a broken world, and applying the science of human performance to help others succeed in life personally and professionally. A former high school, Biology and Chemistry teacher, she holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology, and is currently working on her clinical nutrition license and a PhD in Kinesiology and Clinical Psychology.
Yet a quiet, studious type she is not. Spunky, fun-loving, genuine and spontaneous, Lisa is a people magnet in any crowd. She loves to laugh, especially at herself.
Lisa is a kaleidoscope of talents and skills. She is a teacher, dancer, scientist, singer, athlete, loving wife and mom.
Lisa uses her collegiate and amateur athletic experience as well as her over 20 years of coaching and now 18 years of business experience, as a Chief Information Officer, and business owner to bring a needed change to the community. Lisa knows how to help others smash their goals! Lisa is a 16 time All American in Track n Field, 2-time 400m defending National Champion, UWO Hall of Fame Inductee, and a WIAC Top 100 Athlete. As a Freshman in college, Lisa played Division I basketball with the University of Miami Hurricanes, receiving her first strength training experience under the leadership of the U of M football team’s trainers. Lisa helped her Division I women’s basketball team finish their season 32-2, and beat out Virginia’s Dawn Staley and Tami Reiss, as well as Connecticut’s Geno Auriemma and Rebecca Lobo twice to win the 1992 Big East Conference and NCAA Sweet 16 championships. Lisa knows how to succeed.
Lisa is a loyal wife to Tim, her husband of 19 years, and an affectionate mom to Peter (18) and Nicole (17). Together the Van Wyk family humors Lisa’s compulsion to explore new ideas and to organize everything, from books to lives worth saving.
