Wisconsin Blaze Basketball Coach

Mark is a boys basketball coach for Wisconsin Blaze. A native of Beaver Dam, WI, Mark played basketball, baseball, football and ran cross country at Beaver Dam High School. He was a three-time All-Conference baseball player and was named the Little Ten Conference Player of the Year.

Upon graduating from high school, Mark attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. At UW-Platteville, Mark was a four-year starter on the Men’s Baseball Team. He also was the Assistant Men’s Baseball Coach for one season.

Mark has coached youth baseball, basketball and football in Milwaukee, Spring Green, Beaver Dam and Kimberly. In 2012, he was an assistant coach for Wisconsin All-Star’s 18U College Baseball Select Team. Mark is also on the KAYBC (Kimberly Area Youth Basketball Club) Board of Directors.

Mark’s coaching philosophy is to focus on the fundamentals and preparing players for their next step in the process. He works to develop strong, well-balanced players and great teammates.

When he’s not coaching, Mark works as an Engineering Manager at STOELTING. Mark has three sons, Clayton, Dylan and Aaron.
